Working with LAKA, the bicycle insurance specialists, was a real privilege. I love the playful tone of the brand, and the fact they deal with bicycle insurance, and I’m a keen cyclist, was the icing on the cake.
They approached me because they wanted to create an article about why companies should take out specialist bicycle insurance cover rather than rely on their business insurance. In their words, it was a ‘beast’ to tackle, but I’m always up for a challenge.
After receiving the initial brief, I carried out a massive amount of research looking at various cycling statistics, the rise of the gig economy and the growing popularity of cycle couriers in our cities.
The end result was (in my client’s words): ‘Amazing…it covers some really interesting ideas that I hadn’t previously considered…I thought it was really clever.”
