What industries have you worked in?
We’ve worked in most industries ranging from travel to IT, telecoms to finance, and healthcare to recruitment and catering.
But at the end of the day, experience of writing for a specific sector isn’t necessary.
Every project begins with research into your company, products/services, customers and sector. In fact, no experience is often a benefit as the copy produced is fresh and innovative, making your company stand out from the crowd.

Our clients come from all industries and range from SMEs to blue chip companies.
Not only that, they are also worldwide.
Your website doesn’t show your rates, how do you charge?
We don’t have a published rates board because every project we undertake is different. Prices depend on the project, its complexity, the amount of research required etc. so it’s impossible to provide a standardised list.
Although for a few clients we charge by the hour/day (these are mainly retainer contracts), for the majority we charge fixed fees that are calculated on a per project basis.
Each fee covers the initial draft and research, plus up to two sets of amendments.
What do I pay for?
The copywriting fee covers all research, creation, writing and amendments to the copy. On top of that will be any out of pocket expenses (e.g. travel costs for meetings etc.) incurred during your project, but you won’t pay for lunch breaks, holidays, coffee or doughnuts.
Are you cheap?
As a professional copywriter, you are paying for a professional service so no, we’re not going to be the cheapest, but it’s unlikely we’ll be the most expensive.
By hiring a professional writer, you will not just get a collection of words strung together. You will receive:

- Advice on how to make the most of your copy
- SEO advice (if required)
- Attention to design and layout
- Copy that perfectly matches your brand
We work with you collaboratively, to ensure your marketing materials bring you the return you’re looking for.
However, as with everything in life, you get what you pay for. So if you want copywriting that will work, bring you more targeted traffic, sales and leads, it’s worth investing that little bit extra.
How do I brief you?
In an ideal world, the briefing would take place face to face. But because that’s not always possible, we will provide you with a briefing document that asks for information about your project.
It’s vital this is completed as fully as possible, as it will be the basis for our fee calculation.
How do I get my copy?
The inital and final draft of the copy will be emailed to you in a Word document (unless another format is requested).
What happens if I need to change the brief once work has started?
We understand that sometimes things change. However, as the fee would have been calculated from your original brief, if it is a major change, a further fee may be payable.
But whatever happens, if you do need to make alterations please let us know as soon as possible.
How do I pay you?
For most projects, we will send you an invoice by email once you are happy with the copy (for payment direct to our bank).
However, on occasion (for large projects, new clients and overseas clients) we will request a proportion of the fee to be paid up front, with the remainder being paid either on completion of the project or in instalments.
What about confidentiality?
All relationships with clients are confidential, however should you wish us to sign an NDA we’ll be more than happy to oblige.
Do you do design too?
Design is not our bag, but if you are looking for a designer, get in touch and we’ll offer a few suggestions.
How long will my project take?
That will obviously depend on the size of the project, but you tell us when you need it and we’ll tell you if it’s possible.
A deadline will be agreed at the outset and we’ll make sure you’re kept up to date with progress.
By the way, we always hit or beat our deadlines.
